The river

These (fragments of) writings come from the fertile lands. Where the river is wide and calm. Where in the distance you can already see the sea. The waters run at low speed. Here we can bathe in peace. Sink our heads and reflect (poetically, philosophically, narratively) on the winding and transparent path that has led us to this place. 

This time we’ll go to the river and we’ll repeat
the dip that made us believe
that they were sending us
gifts from the future,
that we could master
everything even the riverbed.
